Wedding Dress Shopping with 'Bachelorette' Jen Schefft

Former "The Bachelorette" star Jen Schefft is finally getting married! Jen and her fiancé, Chicago options trader Joe Waterman, are in the final stages of planning their spring nuptials, and ET is with her as she tries on wedding dresses!

"I'm just getting just a little bit nervous, hoping that I've got everything done," she tells ET, adding that the wedding of 100-125 guests will be small and intimate. "I'm trying not to be a bridezilla -- I just want to make it as easy as possible for everybody."

Jen sampled three designer dresses at Kleinfeld's in New York City -- Pnina Tornai, RS Couture and David Fielden -- and says, "I'm so excited that I actually get to try on some dresses from here. I'm open, but I definitely want something that is sexy yet classy."

As for her wedding day figure, she's working hard to stay in shape: "I'm definitely on the Bridal Bootcamp diet and exercise plan," she says, "so I'm a little bit more motivated to work out these days."

Jen also revealed that Joe's all-time favorite candies are M&M's, so she is using the new Shimmer Collection to add a cute, more personal touch to her wedding with personalized messages and their picture printed right on them, given out as wedding favors. Fun!

As for this year's shocking "Bachelor" finale, in which Jason Mesnick proposed to Melissa Rycroft and then subsequently broke up with her on national television, Jen says, "I just feel bad for everyone involved; it was sort of a bad scenario. I'm so happy for Melissa that she's doing so well and so great on 'Dancing with the Stars.'"

For those not keeping track, Jen first won the heart of "The Bachelor" star Andrew Firestone in 2003, but their engagement ended in heartbreak after the close of the show, leading her to star as "The Bachelorette" in 2005. But love ultimately eluded her on that show, as she rejected proposals from two of her suitors.

Happily, she found love following a blind date in February 2008 with Joe -- set up by another of Jen's blind dates that didn't click. The author of Better Single Than Sorry: A No-Regrets Guide to Loving Yourself and Never Settling, Jen and Joe currently reside in Chicago with their dog, Cooper.

"I definitely feel that I met the right person, so I don't feel as if I've settled," she says with a smile. "Things are really good."
