It's a Jungle Out There: Lipstick on the Verge of Cancellation

I know I keep using this same image, but thematically it always fits!

I might not have cared about this news a few months ago, but I've really come to enjoy Lipstick Jungle as some fluffy girly fact that the show received 3.2 million viewers in its first Friday airing this week is not good news.

So bad in fact, that according to Radar Online, the show is on the verge of cancellation. An unnamed executive believes it to be "only a matter of time".

(Crusoe fans beware; that program received only 4.2 million viewers, which is nothing to brag about either)

You could argue that everybody was busy this past Friday because it was Halloween, but then again 11.2 million people still tuned in to watch a rerun of NCIS on CBS.

So...pray for a miracle this upcoming Friday or you may have seen the last Wendy, Nico and Victory...

no! i was just getting into the show and the victory/joe plot line, this is terrible... any chance it can be blamed on people not being aware enough of the fact that it was released last Friday and not this one as it's unusual to have a new episode 2x in one week anyway?
god, it would be great if that was the excuse... might even allay my fears a bit...

note: just skimming through some reviews from the last episodes and most of the responses to them were along the lines of confusion as people had no idea the episode was on then... god i hope that reigns true for all others and isn't just my hopeful mind deluding me...
p.s. the pic REALLY does work with most topics, have to admit...

@Spryntz - NBC did a scheduling swap to make Wednesday crime-filled with Knight Rider, Life and Law and Order.Jungle aired twice last did poorly on Wednesday night also...but not as badly as it did on Friday...I agree that people may have just not known...but historically...everything on NBC and on most networks just does terribly on that Friday night timeslot. It's where shows get sent to die...

Not fair! Good new shows keep getting canceled. *still not happy about Moonlight*
Maybe there are just too many tv series junkies out there like me who just watch the shows when they appear online nowadays. So much easier than fighting brothers for TiVo/DVR space.
