There's a new vampire hunk joining the likes of heartthrob Robert Pattinson in the upcoming 'Twilight' sequel, 'New Moon.'
British actor Jamie Campbell Bower, 20, revealed to BBC News that he will be taking on the role of Volutri leader Caius in the vampire sequel. "I doubt I'll get the same sort of adulation as Robert -- but it's always nice when people recognize you for your work," he said of the opportunity.
The actor -- who has appeared in films like 'RocknRolla' and 'Sweeney Todd' -- tells the British broadcaster that he's already started shooting for 'New Moon' and that being part of the series is "very exciting."
Jamie's character, Caius, forms an Italian-based gang of vampires called the Volturi that, which, according to the book, become a threat to lovers Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. "I hadn't read the books before. But it's a great thing to be a part of, and ['Twilight'] did very well last year," the actor said of the series.
'New Moon' is set to hit theaters Nov. 20.
