Now that Holly Madison is a Vegas staple, does she feel above The Girls Next Door? That may just be the case. Since she left Hugh Hefner's famous mansion, she's been busy with her own career that she doesn't even find time to watch him on TV anymore. Well, maybe she just can't stand those new girls of his.
On an interview with FOX News, the former No.1 girlfriend of the renowned Playboy mogul discussed her feelings about this year's batch of Girls Next Door. Bottom line is, she's simply not pleased with how they're copying her, Bridget and Kendra.
"I had a great time with Hef and the girls when they came to see Peepshow and hang out in Vegas," Holly Madison explained. "I don't watch the other episodes though, because it kind of makes me mad."
She went on to say that she wants the show to be really fresh, and not just a repeat of what she and her former co-stars did. "The girls need to focus on what makes them unique and not doing the same things Bridget, Kendra and I have already done on the show," the Peepshow star declared.
"Even camping in the backyard was an idea I had for an episode that we never got around to shooting. And guess what they just showed? The girls camping in the backyard. I don't want to look behind, I want to look forward."
While the new Girls Next Door are still coming to terms with their own identities on reality TV, Holly Madison already has hers down pat. She's getting ready for more Sin City appearances, in addition to her upcoming reality show. It's definitely the path she's been hoping to take.
"The biggest challenge I have had to face is sticking by who I am and what I want to do," Holly said. "There have been a lot of people trying to push me in different directions, but I had to stay true to my vision of what I wanted to do and how I wanted to brand myself as an entertainer."
