So he tried to kill himself by OD'ing and then waking up to reveal that his name is really Tyler, but even the actor who plays strange, brooding Danny Bolen on Desperate Housewives says that he doesn't see himself returning on the show's season 7.
"You know, I am just happy to be part of the show right now," Beau Mirchoff tells the New York Post. "I don't expect to be back next year. I kinda hope to go out with a bang! Like get gunned down by the police, go down in a hail of bullets!"
But Desperate Housewives creator and the gang have been mighty secretive, and Mirchoff admits he knows "pretty much nothing" about the upcoming stuff on the ABC show. He, however, says that while he thinks the plane crash episode is crazy, the one after that, set to air in January, is even crazier.
"It's got a lot of time changes and stuff," he confirms. But we know that already. Desperate Housewives' opener will include more time jumps, although of hypothetical nature that will reveal the future of some of the characters should they pursue the path they are contemplating on.
On the last episode of Desperate Housewives, his character Danny tried anew to ask Julie to go out with him. Needless to say, because he's the son of someone she had an affair with, Julie refused. Not to be dissuaded, he told her that he knew about the whole affair with daddy thing. In Julie's head, she confirmed that this family is indeed whacked.
A heartbroken Danny returned home to find his parents caught up in yet another heated argument. His mom Angie (Drea de Matteo) revealed that she had killed a man, prompting the family to move out. Rushing to his room, it was later discovered that Danny took some pills. He turned out OK, though, but in a state of semi-consciousness, reaveled to nurse Mona that his real name is actually Tyler.
