Frozen heads, shape-shifters, and Leonard Nimoy. This could only mean one thing - it's time for a new episode of Fringe. In "Momentum Deferred," we were introduced to the leader of the shape-shifters, Thomas Jerome Newton (Sebastian Roche). At the time, he wasn't exactly a whole person. As you may recall, he was decapitated and his head cryogenically frozen. Newton returns this Thursday, whole this time, and adds to the mystery in which Olivia (Anna Torv), Peter (Joshua Jackson) and Walter (John Noble) are investigating.
The team is tasked with figuring out how mental patients have been miraculously cured of all of their physical and mental health problems through a bizarre and risky brain surgery. With Walter being out of the institute for a year, he's reluctant to go anywhere near the mental institute his son and Olivia are asked to visit.
In the midst of all of this, the elusive William Bell (Leonard Nimoy) resurfaces and may help Olivia understand what he and Walter did to her as a child.
Tune in and check out "Grey Matters" when Fringe airs on Thursday, December 10th at 9:00pm ET on Fox.
