Speculation that Bravo has fired NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" has been swirling for weeks. The media and the show's viewers have been buzzing about it ever since.
On the rumors, Bravo Public Relations tweeted: "No decisions have been made (and don't always believe what you read)."
The two "Real Housewives of Atlanta" have been uncharacteristically mum about the rumors until now. Apparently, NeNe Leakes recently spoke to Sister2Sister Magazine and finally addressed the chatter.
"This is all I can tell you," says NeNe Leakes. "Every housewife has been invited back."
Leakes told the magazine that she does have other options, but her contract with Bravo doesn't allow for her to take them unless the network fires her. If she quits, she'll have to wait until the contract expires.
"They try to lock you in for a number of years," Leakes explains. "We all signed up for a third season when we signed on from day one. If anybody has been fired, nobody knows anything about it. We know nothing about it. I don't know where the rumor came from."?
So, it seems (at least for now) that Leakes and Zolciak have not been fired from the show. As for the rumors that R&B singer Usher's ex, Tameka Foster, is joining the cast, Leakes had something to say about that, as well.
"No. Tameka [Foster] is definitely not coming on," She says. "They don't know who's coming on, but it's definitely not Tameka because she--whatever Usher did, she can't do the show."
"RHOA" fans, are you relieved that your girl, NeNe, says she's coming back next season?
