Now that Emma has seemingly embraced her powers on Heroes, thanks to Hiro's little magic trick, we'll probably be seeing more rainbow colors as she gets more embroiled in the drama of helping others and saving lives. But there's a lot more in store Emma, according to series creator Tim Kring, who promises that the crack Emma made in her wall in the episode "Hysterical Blindness" is the just the beginning of what she's capable of.
There's obviously more than meets the eye when it comes to Emma though she's a little hard to crack at this point. We know she's deaf and has the ability to see and manipulate sound waves as a concussive blast if heavily pressured enough. She also has a degree in biomedicine from Arlington University and used to be a resident at Mercy Heights though she mysteriously quit after the death of man named Christopher. But that's about it so far.
In the coming episodes of Heroes, however, Kring hints to us that a "certain carnival leader will take an interest in Emma's power once he sees its value to his still-unclear plan." Will Emma go completely dark side? And what exactly is Samuel's plan? Well, these things remain to be seen.
The news about Emma getting involved in the Carnie plot shouldn't exactly come as a surprise to avid Heroes viewers since she already found a cello next to a large blue container with the Sullivan Bros. Carnival logo printed on it in the episode "Hysterical Blindness," suggesting that Samuel is gradually trying to penetrate Emma's life and hone her skills.
