Doesn't Sam seem suspicious to you?

Am I the only one thinking that Sam does the killings? He seemed pretty off to me in the episode 5, and 4, coming to Dawn's house to act like a perv.

Plus, remember how he "doesn't think like other people" and hangs out by himself a lot. And if the killings were vampire killings, then the body would have been drained of all blood. And wasn't.

Sam's the bad one here ;-)

YES !I think Sam is the one who killed Sookie's grandma because he was very very upset after the kissing part went wrong with Sookie...You're right, Sam is the bad one...

oh my god, the dog? actually, it is funny since sookie was saying that his thinking is weird.
but still, what the hell - were there werewolves in the book? i'm not familiar at all =)

Hehe... i don't want to spoil anything so i wont affirm or disprove anything :P

don't think he's the dog since in a prior episode he was petting the dog

Damn it Sookie's Grandma died! I'm an episode behind!!!!:(
I am totally thinking that the killer could be Sam but... ... ... ... but he was in bed with Tara the night that Dawn was killed???
What about Layfayette? He is pretty powerful and has V. and everything??

I don't think it's lafayette... but sam really does seem to be off.... he got angry really quick and he said that he would od anything to keep Bill from hurting Sookie... Her Gran was totally rooting for Bill and Sookie so Sam deff. has a motive....hmm.... as for the other girls... i think that sam really doesn;t like vampires or people who like them... so maybe he wanted to scare sookie so that she has second thoughts about dating Bill... who knows....

Now here are some thoughts on Lafayette ... He's gay, and he seems pretty harmless, so I can't imagine any woman-hating, etc. However, remember the video camera, guys? When the first girl died, the videos disappeared... Do you think the vampire would care enough to grab the tape? I mean, if the vampire who did the killing was taped first (and he WAS staring into the camera as we may remember), then he would certainly not come back to grab his 15 minutes of fame...Lafayette is known for having his website set up and he did videotape the village idiot, Jason, too...Anyhoo... I don't think it's Lafayette, but it's definitely a human who kills.
PS. Sheesh, I can;t believe I'm speculating here instead of studying for midterms =))

i think that sam most likely might see through the dogs eyes so he always keep tab on sookie. but i belief he is a werewolf or somethin cause come on he barks in episode 3 i think it was and episode 4 he's sniffing and rollin around in dawns bed like a dog or just a crazi freak. but he's def a suspect to me.

Hey idiots, try reading the book. It explains things in MUCH greater detail.
And i'm going to spoil your fun. Sam didn't do have no clue who did it :D
And just because you see one collie dog running around doesn't mean there can't be two.
and later on in the series by Charlaine Harris..yes there are werewolves, and other were creatures, and witches, and tons of other goodies.
I love really brings the book series to life, but the show is enhanced if you read the book. only bad thing is you already know what happens. I started to read the series a few years ago, so I only recall bits and pieces. Like I knew who died and whatnot, but I forgot a lot of what happened, so the show is a nice refresher.
But Gran's death is much more emotional on the show...I could never have imagined so much blood, even though Sookie ends up having to build an entirely new kitchen b/c of it.

And Jason isn't as stupid in the saddens me. And Tara is a white girl who dates sugar-daddies! hilarious....and even though Sam likes Sookie in the book, he's portrayed way more attractively in the series. rofl..
Man, I forgot Gran was killed this early on :(BOO, and I'm totally disappointed with the actor who plays Eric, well not entirely....
I LOVE the way he talks. very Eric...but, he's just not sexy or sexual enough to portray the book Eric. Pam is spot on though :D

It isn't because of Gran's death that Sookie has to rebuild the kitchen. In fact, it is in Dead as a Doornail that the event happens that forces her to rebuild which is four books down the line. I wouldn't necessarily say that Jason is smarter in the books, more that he is not as prominent a character. I don't even think they are really making him out to be dumb so much as just a major playboy (which is accurate.)

I think they mixes bits of JB du Rone into Jason (dumbness) and Hoyt (kindness).Jason ist as much of a playboy in the books, but he isn't that dumb and/or nympho.
And guys: Please let people speculate. That's part of the fun and you know it - we did too, just more privatly, when we read the books.
The books give you more of an insight in Sookie's mind, as well as some of the history of Bon temps and its inhabitants. The show treats us to the lives os secondary characters, even though it does change quite a lot (Tara!) - without making the show less enjoyable.I am curious, though, how they might pull off certain plotlines the way Tara is in the show...
When did Claudine appear in the books again? Was it book 4? Because I am soooo looking forward to meeting her. And seeing book 4 in action, of course :)(Gracious plenty time ^____^)

Hi I think Sam is the killer of Gran. Not too sure of the deaths of the rest. I think Sam can chage shapes he turns into animals to spy on people. So sad to see Gran go soo soon. I loved her.
