Other shows like Merlin ou there, old or new??

Robin Hood, doctor who and primeval are all saturday 7pm british shows that are very good. Robin Hood is the only one set in the past, during the time of the crusades whereas Doctor who and primeval are all time travel related. But if you like the BBC stuff then you have to watch Robin Hood which has lots of Knights and people running around confusing the dopey guards. :)

Robin Hood ftw. 3 seasons of knights honor and valor. and alot more story development than merlin. Not that I don't like Merlin but, it seems that some dark magician is always on the horizon trying to destroy camelot and merlin always saves the day only to regret having helped Uther in his fight against magic.

seriously? you found legend of the seeker boring? it's like one of the best series made. The graphics are better than merlin(but im hoping merlin graphics will improve). The fighting scenes in the seeker is good too, the sound effects too... I can't believe you don't like it... but it's your choice. I hope you give seeker another try it's really good. The characters are great. They all have developed a very memorable character. Even the villains. Like the mordsith, lord rall, and other characters.

Legend of the Seeker is definitely worth a second look. There was a lot of exposition in the first ep, but they get progressively better. Except for an occasional bad/boring ep, which you get in just about any series.

i don't know if anyone remembers this series "covington cross" back in the 90's. settings in the middle ages kingdoms/crusades minus the magic bit. characters and the storyline's great but didn't catch on back then (also, i think they had budget issues bec. they hay to film abroad) ran only for 1 season i think. you might want to give that one a try but it's kinda hard to find links to watch... let me know if you do find some though =)

i read the wizards first rule which is the baises of legend of the seeker, so i cant watch it without screaming" THATS NOT HOW IT HAPPEND!!!!!!" but robin hood was a good watch, though it got kinda repetitive towards the end. theres not alot of feel good fantasy out there, thay tend to be more gritty like Game of Thrones or Camalot. tons of sci fi stuff though. try eureka you might enjoy it.

i watch 5 ep of seeker but it boring it good graphics but the story it lame and i what all old serie Game of Thrones / rome / Spartacus / The Tudors / Camelot / Robin Hood / Robin of Sherwood and more
