Fake Proposal, a little cruel?

I admit that the segment where Jim faked a proposal to Pam was hilarious, it seemed a bit cruel to me.

Pam kinda seemed to believe it, and we know she was engaged before so she's open to the idea. hmmmmm

I wonder what this means for their relationship.

i think Jim is going to propose to her but since he wanted it to be a surprise he has to first throw her off the trail by pretending he wasn't gonna propose to her.

It was cute, at least I think so. I could see my boyfriend doing that to me. He's my best friend so we goof around a lot. I think it just breaks the tension, kind of?

Yeah I love the two of them together. I just hope they don't screw it up, I guess.

I agree it was a little cruel, but hilarious. Still it would have been so much better if it had turned out to be the real proposal. I have to admit that i was kinda expecting it since he showed us the ring.

I don't think that Jim faking a proposal has any real significance to their relationship... they joke around a lot, so it really seems like something he would do in good humor. :)
