Two possible mothers

The second they said that the party was where the yellow umbrella was and he bumped into that girl my gut told me that she was the one. Of course, that could've just been a clever ploy of the writers because they figured every crushing fangirl would get the same gut reaction and we'd all be thrown off track. Who knows? It would be a great idea, though.

Season 1, episode 9 (belly full of turkey): at the end, when he meets the stripper and she says "actually my name is Tracy" (I can't remember exactly, but I think its Tracy)... His joke about that being their mother would only work if the mothers' name was Tracy. Ergo: it's tracy of Pinapple Incident/Tricycle fame. Or another Tracy. Or someone completely different

if u paid attention he said she was at the party but he did not meet her and he was glad he didnt meet her that night because he didnt think she woulda liked him very much that night,

So, I've been watching some old episodes and just finished Belly Full of Turkey. Well, to get to the point, and I don't know if it has already been said, but... I think the mom's name will be Tracy, or at least should be to hold continuity. At the end of the episode, one of the strippers comes up to Ted at the buffet and introduces herself as Amber. After Ted introduces himself, she says "Actually... I'm Tracy." Then, future Ted chimes in saying, "And that, kids, is the true story of how I met your mother." The kids are shocked, but then he laughs saying he was just kidding. Dude, Tracy, seriously.
