You may not know Shannon Woodward's name just yet, but that's about to change. On Raising Hope, she's proving a standout as Sabrina, the mischievous love interest of young dad Jimmy Chance (Lucas Neff). (Catch a re-airing of the pilot tonight at 9:01/8:01c on Fox).
One person who's already a fan? Singer Katy Perry, Woodward's bestie. (The pop star even sings her pal's praises on Twitter.) "We get involved in lots of partners-in-crime silliness," confirms Woodward.
Audiences will be seeing more of the 25-year-old later this year in indie drama Girlfriend. "I play a single mother going through a rough time," says Woodward. "Then a boy with Down syndrome helps take care of us and comes to think I'm his girlfriend. It's very sad and very different from Raising Hope."
