Dr. Phil Discusses Losing His Mustache, Fallon Compares Him to Will Ferrell (VIDEO)

'Late Night' Shows Dr. Phil McGraw with No Mustache

When Dr. Phil McGraw appeared on 'Late Night' (weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC), Jimmy Fallon wondered how TV's most famous psychologist felt about losing his mustache on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' last May. "[Oprah] wanted to [shave it]. 'Yes, ma'am,'" McGraw joked.

His two kids (the oldest is 31) had never seen him without it, and wife Robin wasn't thrilled with the new look. Fallon displayed a picture of a mustache-less McGraw. "That just looks goofy," said the doc. Fallon contended that McGraw could play Will Ferrell's brother.

The host then revisited an old "Ultimate Mustache Fighter" segment in which a giant version of McGraw's mustache battled John Oates' '80s mustache.
