Well its goodbye to Aaron Kelly tonight as the show eliminated another contestant on this year's American Idol. Wasn't a surprise however, since his performance last night was nothing spectacular.
But the real review of tonight's episode was the torture it took to get through it. The only good part about last night and tonight's show was Harry Connick Jr. Now that guy should be the host of this show. Ryan's not bad, he even has a Hollywood Star on the Walk of Fame, but this season I find his jokes and sarcasm to be rude and obnoxious. However, it was torture watching tonight. Especially yet another horrid Ford video (the only reason that is aired is because Ford is paying the show millions of dollars for airtime) and we have to suffer through it.
The contestants also had to sing a Frank Sinatra hit. I don't know if it was the theme that made this week so dreadful or just the performances. But I finally felt life when Lady Gaga hit the stage. Now that is a performance! Regardless. Big Mike ended up in the bottom two and Aaron was sent packing.
If you didn't get a chance to watch this episode you lucked out. It's time I unfortunately will never get back.
