Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston to Provide Voice Acting for Sega’s THOR: GOD OF THUNDER Video Game

It’s always a nice touch when movie-licensed video games can get the actors from the movie to do voice work.  Sega has signed Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston who play Thor and Loki, respectively, in Kenneth Branagh’s Thor to provide the voice work for their characters in the upcoming video game Thor: God of Thunder.

Of course, a nicer touch is when the game itself is actually good.  I don’t think anyone begrudgesGoldenEye 007 on the Nintendo 64 because it doesn’t have Pierce Brosnan voicing James Bond.  I do think people begrudge Sega’s Iron Man and Iron Man 2 because they’re unplayable crap.  Of course, maybe God of Thunder will break that movie tie-in losing streak.  I doubt it, but it’s possible.  Hit the jump for the press release.  The game is due out in spring 2011 on all major video game platforms while Thor hits theaters on May 6, 2011.
