THE OFFICE “Classy Christmas” Review

The Office Season 7 Episode 11 - Classy Christmas

I’m just going to say it: this was my favorite episode of season 7 of THE OFFICE. I laughed through pretty much the entire episode, and when I wasn’t laughing, I was agreeing with the writing choice… which isn’t something that has happened often during this season.

We were treated to an hour long Christmas special of The Office tilted "Classy Christmas", and I was pleasantly surprised that the episode didn’t drag out for me. I was nervous about an hour long episode. The last few seasons of The Office have been sort of lacking in humor for a half hour, I was curious how the writers were going to fill and entire hour! But they did, and it was hysterical.

The way that Holly was written back into The Office was great! I missed her; when mixed with Michael she brings a level of awkwardness that makes the show hilarious and she didn’t disappoint! From the second she walked in the door with her and Michael’s initial exchange, I found myself cringing – in a totally good way that only The Office can make happen.

Writing Toby serving on jury duty on the Scranton Strangler case was a great move; this leaves Holly’s time at Dunder Mifflin open, and after last night’s episode, I hope she stays for a LONG time. That being said, as a fan of the show, how do you want Holly and Michael’s relationship to play out?
