Theatrical Trailer

For once, I begin to like what I see. The new theatrical trailer was mind blowing! However, there is one thing that really bugged me. There was no comedy in the trailer whatsoever which bares the question, is there going to be comedy? By M. Shayamalan that it'll suck unless its got comedy, and Dev Patel with a scar as big as Zuko's. If you see it, comment on it, I'd be nice to read other ppl's opinions

too bad everyone in this movie is white, even though they should clearly be Chinese, Tibetan, Mongolian etc. The year is 2010, not 1960.

everyone in the movie is white? did you totally miss the large number of people who are clearly indian? really now.
the movie was visually stunning but they tried to cram the whole first season into a movie and it was pretty bad. the dialogue was lame, they mispronounced character names, changed things they didn't have to. they also glossed over explanations of important plot elements so if you haven't seen the series, you don't get what's happening for most of the movie.

It's sad that after all the big talks and people saying that this movie was going to be amazing, the fans were right all along. They were right 2 years ago and they are right now, this movie blows in so many proportions, darn, I thought we were going to see more avatar, what we've wanted for 2 years! what a dissapointment....

total agreement. it's nice eye candy. aside from that, i just wanted to kill someone. they should have made a stand-alone movie with a new story that compliments the series instead of trying to boil it down into something you can watch in one sitting.
