Star Wars: The Clone Wars - "Ghosts of Mortis" Review

Well, well, well. They went there, huh? Anakin made some big discoveries in "Ghosts of Mortis" – temporary though they were. I'll start with a gripe from early in the episode: Did we knowAhsoka was a mechanic before? I don't recall that and it seemed a bit random. I'd rather Ahsoka was assisting Anakin when going over their ship's engine – perhaps showing he'd been passing on that bit of knowledge to his padawan. This is where it turns out I'm totally blanking on a previous episode establishing this, right...? But let's discuss the episode's huge turn of events, as the Sonshowed Anakin his future – yes, that part of his future. Sure, I wondered how this could all fit into continuity, but there was no denying the thrill of seeing what Anakin saw - from his confrontation with Obi-Wan, to the destruction of Alderaan to… Darth Vader's helmet! Barring a true time travel story, it's not like we can really visit the classic trilogy era of Star Wars on this series, so this was very cool to see.  Read More...
