In their secluded cave on the remote island where Nick Pearson may or may not be hiding, Greenlee and Ryan pull back from their kiss to talk. Greenlee wants him to promise that if they get back together, it won't blow up in their faces again. Ryan gets why Greenlee is hesitant and decides to prove to her that they can work this time. He kneels and takes Greenlee's hands as he recites his vows that he never had a chance to say a year ago: he vows to always love her and cherish her. They've been through hell and back. No matter what happens, she will never lose him. They belong together, his green butterfly. Enchanted Greenlee replies with her own impromptu heartfelt vows: She has faith in his vows and promises to be as strong and protective of Ryan as he has been to her. Ryan grabs a piece of twine and wraps it around Greenlee's finger. She does the same and voila! They are sort of married and quickly proceed to enjoy their wedding night. Afterwards Greenlee sees a quartz stone in the sand and proclaims it's a sign. A sign of what, you ask. A sign they are meant to be because the stone reminds Greenlee of her engagement ring.
