'Law & Order: LA's' Alana de la Garza: Co-star's 'murder' made for 'a hard day'

Alana de la Garza is re-entering the "Law & Order" universe as another cast member leaves it. And leaves it violently.NBC's promos for the two-hour Monday, April 11, return of "Law & Order: LA" haven't been shy about indicating that a major character will be sent to that precinct in the sky. Odds-on favorite, based on the structure of those ads, and the fact that the actor is leaving the show: Skeet Ulrich's Detective Rex Winters.Without confirming he's actually the victim, de la Garza -- who's joining the show in her role from the original, New York-based "Law & Order," Deputy District Attorney Connie Rubirosa -- tells Zap2it, "It's all about the drama. I know from talking to everybody that that was a hard day. Everybody there loves [the actor involved] and genuinely cares for him, so to pretend he was dead was not fun. It'll be exciting for viewers to watch, though."Also coming up...
