TV ratings: 'Dancing With the Stars' steady in Week 2 as ABC rules Monday


Fast National ratings for Monday, March 28, 2011The second episode of "Dancing With the Stars" drew ratings nearly identical to its premiere last week, giving ABC another huge win on Monday night. CBS and FOX were both in repeats for most of the night, so the margin of victory was even wider than last week.Here's how dominant ABC was Monday: Its average of 19.2 million viewers (with an 11.9 rating/18 share in households) was greater than the combined total of the other four English-language networks. CBS was the best of the rest with 6.25 million viewers and a 4.1/6. NBC (5.6 million, 3.7/6) came in third overall, followed by FOX (4.4 million, 2.8/4). The CW was barely there with just 646,000 viewers and a 0.5/1.ABC also ruled the adults 18-49 demographic with a 4.5 rating; no one else broke the 2.0 barrier. CBS took second in the demo with a 1.9.
