ANTM Cycle 11 Episode 2 Elimination Not Fair

I was disappointed that Isis was one of the bottom two in this episode but was not eliminated. Yes, Nikeyshia looks as though she is suffering from anorexia but was it fair that she lost to Isis? Yes, Isis creates buzz for "America's Next Top Model." Yes, Isis does know her craft. But Isis is still technically a male. Visit to find out what I believe to be a contradictory statement made by Tyra on this issue.

Isis's was not pretty at all. Just there to get ratings up. I've seen better looking girls ( & boys ) on the street

I don't disagree with the results of this episode. Nikeyshia is a little young and has such a strong personality. Inexperience can get you into some trouble if you don't know how to acclimate to more professional settings. While her picture was good, I think her struggle with accepting criticism and her lack of professionalism did justify her leaving. But, if you ask me Sheena could have just as easily been out the door. She is a little too interested in starting drama and she doesn't take criticism well. Plus she lied. I know she fessed up, but her first instinct was to lie about her breasts. If put in another scenario where she has to answer for herself, I think she would lie again. Its her nature to deceive, you can already tell that. But if you are going to go by pictures alone, Britany's was the worst. Isis's picture wasn't great, and I totally agreed with Paulina about her arms being too closed. You can see the unrealized possibilities when you look at Isis's pose. I don't think the results had anything to do with Isis's current/desired gender. By putting her on the show, ANTM represents a progressiveness that isn't ordinarily embraced. The fact that they are critiquing her on her modeling qualities vs her personal situation adds credibility to the show.

I disagree. Firstly, I don't think Isis even belonged in the bottom 2 (Hannah's photo was terrible), but more importantly, the point is that even though somebody who is pre-op transgender is "still technically a male"...they have chosen to live as a female...so...if you respect that decision as a society...then they are to be accepted as female...no matter what their body parts may be. If Isis were to compete in a modeling competition for males, that would basically be saying that we don't accept her as transgender. One could argue that Tyra is doing this as a stunt to create ratings, but I actually kind of applaud her this time around...because they have been very subtle about Isis in the show since the initial "reveal" and have treated Isis no differently than the rest of the girls and have not repeatedly even brought up the issue.
