House: "The Dig" Review

Dare I say this was the best episode in a long, long while? Yes, I dare. I could chalk it up to the return of Thirteen (Olivia Wilde) and her laundry list of secrets and mysteries, but it's more than that. This season, Dr. House hasn't had a female foil quite like Thirteen (or like Cameron before her). Cuddy and Masters have had their place, but neither of them allowed House to demonstrate his father figure/creepy old man side, which had long been the source of this show's humor. There were some legitimately funny scenes with the two of them going back and forth, and it reminded me of why I like this show. Now that Thirteen is back, House once again has someone on his team who can take the inappropriate sexual innuendo and give it back to him just as good.  Read More...
