A third "Stargate SG-1" movie is coming

I don't know about you, but I love Stargate SG-1 more than Stargate Atlantis, probably because it's the first series in the franchise, and of course because it has Jack Oneill.

Speaking of Jack Oneill, a 3rd Stargate SG-1 movie is on the way, according to reports, Brad Wright has received approval from MGM to write a script for the third SG-1 feature, which will feature Jack Oneill.

RDA definitely made SG-1 a very good show. It wasn't the same after he left, and I can't watch Atlantis because that Rodney character is so, so annoying as to make it unenjoyable. A third movie, especially one that finished the Sam/Jack story in a satisfying manner would be great. I know why SG-1 ended as it did when it was cancelled, but it wasn't a good tie-up to the series.
I loved "200", though, where they took potshots at everyone, including the Sci-Fi channel. XD

I am so glad that they are deciding to make a third movie of SG-1. Like what tvqueen has said there are to many loopholes that needed mending and closure. Richard Dean Anderson actually made what Stargate SG-1 is today and I am glad that he will be in this third movie as well. I like Stargate Atlantis but it really not a big hit as SG-1 ever will be the number 1.
