'Parks and Recreation' Season 3, Episode 11 Recap

Jerry Gergich is a misunderstood soul in the Parks Department. He's an artist, a poet, and a very loving and sensitive husband, but the Parks gang think of him as a buffoon who always screws up, and marginalizes him whenever possible.

So it's fitting that, even though this super-sized episode of 'Parks and Rec' is called 'Jerry's Painting,' Jerry isn't really involved all that much. Like most of the goings on in 'Parks,' the focus is on Leslie and how proud she is of being depicted as topless centaur goddess in Jerry's painting.
