Pirates 5's Script is Done

Signed, sealed, and delivered: The fifth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean script has been cast off to seas and washed ashore at Disney's HQ, clearing the way for the company to begin the initial preparations. The only problem, of course, is that the leading man for the series, Johnny Depp, is not as eager as screenwriter Terry Rossio, as he is looking to take a short break between the series' fourth and fifth movies. 

The Hollywood Reporter has the scoop on the latest developments, citing quotes from Captain Jack Sparrow himself. "It's not something where I would say, 'Let's shoot it next month to get it out by Christmas 2012,'" says Depp on resuming the role of Sparrow. "We should hold off for a bit.
