Doctor Who: "The Doctor's Wife" Review

Note: Full Spoilers for the episode follow. The Doctor has, over the years, had his fair share of esteemed literary giants penning all manner of interplanetary romps. But we can't think of a more natural fit than Neil Gaiman, the free-wheeling, off-kilter and fantasy-devoted creator of The Sandman (a comic book nerd's Bible), and a couple of book-come-instacult movies Coraline and Stardust. To say his long-awaited episode of Doctor Who puts the series back on track after last week's scurvy mess is an understatement.The Doctor's Wife was a superlative 45 minutes of television that proved quite how imaginative, engaging and entertaining a 'done-in-one' episode can be when put into the hands of a writer and cast at the top of their game.  Read More...
