Paula Abdul on Cheryl Cole's 'X Factor' departure: 'We will continue to stay in touch'


It was announced Monday (June 6) that Nicole Scherzinger will officially be replacing Cheryl Cole as a judge on "The X Factor," Simon Cowell's new competition reality show on FOX. When Cole's departure was first reported, rumors of a feud -- or lack of chemistry -- between her and fellow judge Paula Abdul began circulating. On Tuesday, June 7, Abdul took to her Twitter account to address Cole's exit. "Cheryl is amazing. We have forged a wonderful friendship & have been & will continue to stay in touch," she tweeted.
