OK I've liked Mercy from the get go, but tonight's episode took it to a whole new level.
For starters Chloe (Michelle Trachtenberg) acting like a wild women in the ER and jumping the nutcase and then getting drunk and going after the first guy she sees, lucky guy, but then Dr. Dan Harris coming to the rescue. Who thinks he got the hots for Chloe???
Then we have Sonia (Jamie Lee Kirchner) going back to her material roots, wanting the "finer things" in life. She starts by wanting the big Valentines Dinner out, no I'm not saying that that's wrong, but she insists that it has to be at the fanciest place and miss his statement that what madders is that they are together and forgets to say happy valentines day. And even though he should have called her and taken the day more seriously, she should have gave him the chance to at lest explain and to try to understand his point of view as well. Then she goes back to the hospital and kisses the rich lady's son, come on Sonia.
Now we have Veronica (Taylor Schilling) where to start, in the elevator, so she starts her day off by breaking up Dr. Gillian (K.K. Moggie) and Dr. Chris (James Tupper) by accident trying to do the right thing by being nice to Gillian, nice twist. Then schedules a date with Dr. Chris but does not want him to pick her up at her parent's house. Then tells her mother (Kate Mulgrew) who is defiantly not happy but still makes an effort to help. But of course it can't be that easy will we see Veronica getting ready in the bathroom at a dinner we here a shot then find that the place is getting robbed and the girl behind the counter has been shot! While trying to help her and not get caught her phone rings, Dr. Chris wanting to know where she is, but the guy catches her and forces her to help him, when she goes back to check on the girl she is dead and now the guy losses it and throws Veronica on the floor hitting her head and she finds a gun, and does what it takes to survive. But the sound of her voice on the phone and her walking out with the gun makes me wonder if she really survived it or not.
I think this is one of the best episodes so far.
