After Tuesday’s auditions, the last twelve performers were chomping at the bit to find out who would go on to the next level of competition. Host Nick Cannon took the stage and immediately brought out four of the previous evening’s acts to reveal the first of four performers who will be competing again next week.
Illusionist Frank Miles, pop trio Avery & The Calico Hearts, singer-songwriter Taylor Davis, and dance troupe Fatally Unique stood nervously next to one another in front of America as Cannon built suspense to fever pitch before announcing the first finalist: Fatally Unique.
Judge Piers Morgan said he was pleased with the outcome of the vote: "I think it’s the most deserved, because nobody worked harder to improve," Morgan said.
After a commercial break, Cannon introduced pop singer Jason Derulo, who sang "Don’t Wanna Go Home," the latest single from his forthcoming album "Future History."
