FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS "The Benefit of Forgetting" Season 1 Episode 4 — Did you ever see the movie 50 First Dates? Yeah? So did the writer of Friends with Benefits‘ latest episode "The Benefit of Forgetting." Only he/she decided to give the premise a bit of a morally questionable spin.

With the help of some seriously freaky (if it’s real) CIA technology that Aaron is only willing to access for each of his friends three times, Ben tracks down Megan, a girl he dated for ten weeks who disappeared without a word. He finds out that she got hit by a truck and lost her ability to form memories. Like the dude in Memento. Except funnier. Sort of.

Being a guy who doesn’t like commitment or putting work into a relationship, it’s the perfect deal for Ben; he can tell Megan that he planned and executed an elaborate and romantic date for them, when in reality they spent another night on the couch with pizza and a movie. She’ll never know! Of course, if Megan can’t remember being with Ben, what else can’t she remember? Turns out, she’s forgotten that she’s engaged to someone else. Oh well.
