Fringe: William Sadler Set To Reprise Role From Season 1

Actor William Sadler has confirmed recently that he will return to FOX's critically acclaimed sci-fi drama Fringe to reprise his role as Doctor Bruce Sumner during the upcoming fourth season.

"Off to Vancouver and the Fringe shoot. It'll be fun to see Walter again." The actor twitted; later he added that "Fringe shoot was great fun. Always good to see John [Noble]."

In case you don't remember who he is, let's refresh your memory.

Sadler appeared on Fringe for the first time back in season one during the episode "The Equation", in which his character Sumner attempted to return Walter Bishop (John Noble) to his previous residence at St Claire's psychiatric hospital.

Now three seasons later, we're going to see the consequences of Peter's disappearance and deal with the fact that he supposedly never existed (at least according to The Observers).
