The Inbetweeners Movie Review

In Britain, we're not too good at turning TV comedy into celluloid brilliance. While the Americans churn out the likes of The Addams Family and The Naked Gun, we have to make do with Bean and Kevin and Perry Go Large. Heck, even the League of Gentlemen struggled to translate their small-screen genius into movie magic. 

Which is why we're pleased to report that The Inbetweenershave effortlessly made the transition to the silver screen in their first film outing. 

The movie finds the boys leaving school and heading to Greece for their first lads' holiday, but their dreams of bare breasts and booze soon turn into a nightmare of failure and embarrassment, making The Inbetweeners the most cringeworthy comedy of the summer. It may also be the funniest, with the film very nearly hitting the humorous heights of its TV counterpart. Read More...
