THE GLADES “Beached” Review

THE GLADES "Beached" Season 2, Episode 11 – Life, if you will forgive the pun, is a beach in "Beached" this week’s episode of The Glades. Say, did you know that Florida has 1,350 miles of coastline, but less than 700 of those miles are beaches? Well, now you do. And knowing is half the battle.

Another fun fact: the best way to get out of a beach volleyball game is to find a dead body buried in the sand. The corpse of the week belongs to a conceptual developer, which might not actually be an official title, but it’s the best I could come up with to explain a job that involves going to bars and figuring out ways to re-theme them. It’s a good thing I don’t have this job; every bar in America would look just like Quark’s on Star Trek: DS9.

Because where there are beaches, there are bars, and the dead dude happens to be found with a matchbook for one bar in particular, Dwight’s Dockside, Florida’s answer to Cheers.
