‘Entourage,’ Season 8, Episode 5: TV Recap

The countdown has begun. "Entourage" is down to its final four episodes before the show’s remarkable run fades into television history. Creator and chief writer Doug Ellin now has the task of tying up all of the characters’ loose ends — and leaving enough comic suspense for the inevitable (but still not yet confirmed) "Entourage" movie in 2013.

As we’ve seen so far this season, the show is shorter on yuks and longer on slice-of-life drama. Now, Vince has to contend with an interview for Vanity Fair, possibly for the cover. Sophia, the reporter and a drop-dead gorgeous blonde, is meeting Vince.

Drama’s life "is falling apart," again, as usual. Dice has been fired from their animated show for insubordination. Eric has a lunch with Melinda, the stepmother is his estranged girlfriend Sloan. Melinda wants Eric to represent her acting comeback. Ari has an entanglement with his children and his new/old old/new girlfriend Dana Gordon, who runs a major movie studio. Read More...
