Four years after the book became a funny success for author David J. Rosen, 'I Just Want My Pants Back' (Sun., 11PM ET on MTV) became the newest entry in MTV's burgeoning scripted comedy department, joining 'Awkward.' and the just cancelled 'The Hard Times of RJ Berger.'
But while those latter two series focus on the foibles and struggles of high school, 'Pants' jumps way ahead to the post-collegiate demographic. Still in the forefront, though, are sex and relationships. But after a string of flings, lead Jason finds himself more interested in his latest conquest.
He can't seem to get her off of his mind, though he has no idea how to find her considering she gave him a fake number after their one-night stand. In an attempt to deflect his feelings to his friends, he resorts to the title of the sitcom. She took and wore a pair of his jeans when she left.
