AWKWARD “No Doubt” Review

AWKWARD “No Doubt” Season 1 Episode 10 – For an episode titled “No Doubt,” there certainly are a lot of doubts on Jenna’s mind in this week’s Awkward. Reality has sent in after her surprisingly happybirthday with Matty, and in the light of day, she still has a lot of questions about the nature of their relationship.

It doesn’t help her state of mind to get slapped by a Christian cheerleader. Jake, being honest to horrible fault, decides to tell his girlfriend, Lissa, that he kissed Jenna, which of course she blames on Jenna. It’s never the guy’s fault; it’s always the other girl. Matters are made worse by the fact that Lissa has an evil little bee named Sadie buzzing in her ear, compelling her to make Jenna suffer for the kiss she didn’t initiate.

Jenna really can’t catch a break. After being physically assaulted, Tamara is nice to her for about a split-second before returning to the silent treatment she’s been giving her best friend ever since another dude forcibly kissed her while she was drunk and drugged. Jenna’s lips must taste like beer. That’s the only thing I can think of for why guys can’t seem to get enough of them.

Turning to Ming to help fix her friendship with Tamara could have backfired horribly, but it turns out to be the best plan ever. Under the bleachers, the friends reconcile and Tamara reveals that she did not write the carefrontation letter. She only wanted to hurt Jenna by saying that she did. In actuality, she thinks that Matty wrote it as a way to prompt Jenna to change into the kind of girl he could date in public. Read More...
