With this week's episode, 'Terra Nova' (Mon., 8PM ET on FOX) is starting to feel a lot more like 'Star Trek,' but not necessarily in a good way. The "monster of the week" turned out to be a virus that wiped memories, but the cure was so painfully obvious throughout the episode, that it became tedious waiting for the characters to figure it out. We like a little bit of mystery and suspence with our dinosaurs, please.
As for a larger story, that was relegated very much to the back-burners, which is a common format for procedural shows and adventure series. That's fine, so long as the adventures are fun, and with 'Terra Nova' we do get those dinosaurs. And what's not fun about those?
