'Survivor: South Pacific' Episode 8 – Is Cochran A Double Agent Or A Clucking Chicken?

Last week, Ozzy made a lot of assumptions when he opted to martyr himself, and be sent to Redemption Island, his plan being to beat Christine at the duel, and re-enter the game. Firstly, he assumed the merge was imminent. Next, that he’d beat Christine. And third, that Cochran would give him back the idol upon his return. You know what they say about assumptions, right?

Post Council, the Savaii tribe wandered home, wearily wondering if they’d done the right thing. If there wasn’t a merge, and they had to depend upon Cochran, they were doomed. Cochran, on the other hand, had taken Ozzy’s offhand reference to fooling Christine into believing that Cochran was a ‘double agent’, as a new mandate – Cochran as super spy.  His new plan involves turning the acting skill he’s honed over the last 18 days, in pretending that his tribe mates are his friends,  into a ‘New Cochran’ that seeks protection from Upolu from his own tribe.
