'Two and a Half Men': Charlie's back...sort of


For as much as Chuck Lorre seems to hate Charlie Sheen, the "Two and a Half Men" producer can't seem to get over him...even after they've killed him off.[Spoiler Alert]Monday's (Nov. 7) episode of the CBS comedy focused on Alan (Jon Cryer) attempting to come to terms with his brother's death. But the entire grieving process isn't pretty.At one point, a lonely and depressed Alan looks toward the heavens (a strange choice) and says to his late brother, "I would have given anything to be like you." So he does just that.Alan begins to channel Charlie's joie de vivre. This means he starts to drink like him, talk like him and womanize like him. He even chooses to dress in those ridiculous striped shirts and shorts his brother made so famous.It's an odd twist for a show that looked to be moving past the Sheen debacle. It seemed petty and personal, which is hardly a...
