'Homeland': Another call of duty for Brody


"Homeland" somehow manages to surprise us every week, so we're not even going to attempt to prognosticate where things will end up when all is said and done on Sunday's (Dec. 4) upcoming episode. But two new clips from the upcoming show do offer tantalizing peeks at where we'll start out. In the first, Brody (Damian Lewis) calls Carrie (Claire Danes) and asks her to meet. Knowing what we now know about Brody (wink wink) we have to think he's assuming he can play her like a piano. Still, we're not convinced that special agent Mathison is so easily fooled:In the second, as expected, political fame knocks on Brody's door in the form of the vice president, who asks the returned war hero to run for office in a special election to replace a disgraced Congressman. Will Brody, as instructed by his handlers, jump into politics as a sort of Manchurian (or al Qaeda-ian candidate)?...
