I do have mixed feelings about this episode, but that doesn't mean I don't have anything to write. In addition to the actual episode review, I will also be going over some other little tidbits I'd like to share with you guys, so... Enjoy!
The New Intro: When I first saw this new TV intro, I thought, "wait, what the!?" It seemed to be a more brighter version of the original with the Kai logo shorter so the "Dream 9" logo could fit as well. I am not going to fuss about this minor change, I just thought that they'd keep the same intro always...
The Episode: As I always write, I liked this episode. I thought the image and music was great, there was just one problem - the whole fight scene seemed to go by too fast! I don't know if the episode originally flowed liked that in Dragon Ball Z, but some things went by too quickly, including the Kamehameha clash scene.
The Commercials: During the episode, eight Dragon Ball-related commercials aired. My personal favorite of the bunch was the Dragon Ball Kai home release commercial (again). It showed us what the series would look like in fullscreen on the Blu-ray releases. I can't wait to get my copy! Remember to pre-order the first volume on DVD or Blu-ray today!
Also, I have two more things to add in this section. A new commercial aired promoting some kind of playset where you and your friends could battle in the Tenka'ichi BudÅkai. I will have to find out more about this and update on the site.
For my last little tidbit, I will tell you about the "Dream 9" promo that aired this week. There are currently four of these little commercials in total. The one that was being used for the last few episode or so was the one with Piccolo. However, the one with Gohan was used this week...
Well that wraps up this week's "Kai Korner" review! I hope you enjoyed reading and hope to see you visit next week! Bye'cha!
