'Once Upon a Time': 'Prince' Charming saves the kingdom


On the latest "Once Upon a Time," we get more "Prince" Charming backstory, making us love Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin even more, which we didn't think was possible.In Fairytale Land, James is a twin. The one we know was raised by his biological mother on a farm and is a poor peasant. The twin is the "Prince Charming," but he is slain in battle and the King gets James to pose as his brother to slay a dragon for King Midas. James comes through as the big hero but the catch is Midas wants him to marry his daughter Abigail. If he does so, he basically saves his kingdom and his mother/farm from financial ruin. So he agrees and is wedded to Abigail, having said goodbye forever to his mom.And oh yeah, the one who brokered the deal to give one twin to the King and Queen? Rumpelstiltskin, of course.
