First off, let me say sorry for the lack of reviews. I realize that it's been a month since my last review, so I promise to make this at least a little bit enjoyable.
Episode 15: What can I say about this episode? Well, I didn't catch it live (but I did get someone to write down the commercials), I never wrote any notes down, so... I guess we're done here! Oh yeah, it aired on July 12, 2oo9.
Episode 16: I guess I can say something about this episode. It aired July 19, 2009. It was the final episode of the Saiyan arc. I didn't catch this episode live, either. I didn't even get someone to write down the commercials for me (I was on vacation. I planned on watching it, but my internet access failed me). One last thing - I liked how they ended the episode, it was like a cliffhanger. What was going to happen? Was Kuririn going to kill Vegeta!? Who knows?
Episode 17: Finally, an episode I actually caught live (although someone accidentally turned off my internet router and I was clueless as to what actually happened until after the show). It aired on August 2, 2009, was the first episode of the Namek arc, and even had an insert song. Unfortunately, there were no new eye-catches (which goes against how they introduce new ones every four episodes), but there was a new title card. It was a screen-shot of space, indicating they were going into outerspace this arc!
"Over the Star," by Saki Oshitani, was featured in the episode from the "Yeah! Break! Care! Break!" single. I like the song, and loved how they used it in the episode (while the others picked up their friends' dead bodies). This was a great episode and I can't wait until the next!
Saiyan arc: I really liked the arc. I liked how the episode count decreased from 35 to 16. It gave me an excuse to watch the arc without having to see all the filler episodes again. I can't wait to buy the Blu-rays (maybe)!
