X-Men Anime: "Armor, Part 1" Review

 

Round 2 of the X-Men anime showed some great improvements, but there are still a couple problems with our man Cyclops. I'm hoping this doesn't turn into the "Scott Summers Needs therapy" show, but everything else seems pretty solid. 

The first thing that struck me is that the art here is well done, and seems better than what we saw in the pilot. There are a few lazy shortcuts, like long pans over still pieces of art. But the snowy landscapes are so well done and detailed you might not notice it much. The artists also seem to love doing glowy computer screens, and each digital readout is nice to look at, with an impressive level of detail.  Read More...
