X-Men Anime: "Revelations" Review

This episode's title sums it all up well. We finally got a lot of the answers we've been waiting for, and although a few key mysteries remain, this story is a lot clearer. The team confronts Sasaki about her work, and it comes out that she was trying to "cure" the mutants to save them from persecution. Beast has a great response to this: "I'd say the problem is with the bigots, not the victims." Beast doesn't get to see much action in this series, but he is one of the more interesting characters as a voice of morality and reason.

Meanwhile, the weird telepathic battle with Professor X gets crazier. Xavier figures out that it's all in his mind and the fight is on. Let's get ready to rumb....oh wait. A cut back to the X-Men. Hmm. O...kay. That was a lot of build up for something we don't get to even see this week. Kind of a bummer.  Read More...
