'Jersey Shore' recap - Season 5, episode 3

It may sound like an awful action/thriller flick, but last night's "Jersey Shore" should have been titled "The Bosnian"Also, if we learned anything from last night’s episode, it’s that things without Vinny are an awful lot like things with Vinny. After Vinny heads home to Staten Island to deal with his anxiety, Pauly D decides to go inform the rest of the house, who are all partying hard at Karma, of their roommate’s departure. When Snooki and Deena hear the news, depression sets in. Snooki tells Jionni that she "loves Vinny as a roommate" (one that she continuously sleeps with) and Deena flat out breaks down in a drunken mess, declaring that Vinny was "like my soul."Situation, who was once part of the triumvirate of MVP, shrugs off the news and goes back on the prowl at the club. Noting that he is like a shopper at a store, Situation picks out a brunette and decides to take her home to try before he buys.Pauly, who leads the Vinny Memorial, decides that he needs to "get it in" for his departed buddy and takes home a girl of his own. It won’t be the first time he dedicates a hook-up this week. Later on in the episode, Pauly decides to bring home a tattooed older woman who is "just Vinny's type" and smush her in Vinny's bed in honor of him.Back at the house we get a lesson in some advanced Italian from The Situation, who teaches us all that mangia qualcosa means eat something and a few words that I cannot print here lest I want to start combing the classifieds section. Then we get s quick look at Vinny as he arrives home in Staten Island. Brief, but heart-warming as Vinny is embraced by his family during his tough time. Read More...
