The Big Bang Theory “The Beta Test Initiation” Review

Continuing from last week’s unexpected Penny/Leonard re-hook-up, in this week’s episode of The Big Bang Theory, "The Beta Test Initiation," the sort-of couple decides to treat their relationship like a new tech gadget. Together, they will make lists of all the bugs (literally things that bug them about each other), and if the software proves to be faulty, they can pull themselves off the market. I could have gone on with that metaphor, but you get the point. And you can probably see that it’s not going to end well.

No warm-blooded straight girl in her right mind doesn’t develop a bit of a crush on David Tennant.

Anyway, the beta test, as predicted, leads to Leonard almost accidentally shooting himself in the foot, a nice touch. Despite nearly nitpicking each other to death, they’re still going ahead with the second phase of their relationship. I’m glad. I didn’t want to see this story line just die. Read More...
