'The Voice': Meet James Massone, Boston mechanic turned Team Cee-Lo star


Talk about a life-changing opportunity. On Monday's episode of "The Voice," 23-year-old James Massone put on his old varsity jacket and performed "Find Your Love" for the judges. Massone, a mechanic from Boston, wasn't interested in going back to work on cars. "I don't really want to go back to the shop. This is my dream. This is what I want to do, hopefully forever," he says.He told a story of a heartbreaking near-miss where four of his friends were gunned down in 2005 after a fight broke out in a recording studio. "A kid decided to take out any witnesses, so he left no one alive," he says. James' brother was supposed to be in that studio, but thankfully, wasn't. Still, the tragedy inspired him to pursue music."This was their dream, this is my dream, I want to carry it on," he says. "I didn't sleep last night. My stomach had the biggest butterflies....
